Add, check off, or remove items and everyone in your household sees the change instantly. No more refreshing or texting "did you get the milk?"
In the Plan tab, swipe to set priorities: a short swipe for Maybe, a full swipe for Need, or swipe left to Skip. Focus on what matters when you're at the store.
Each person controls their own view: show checked items or hide them, switch on dark mode, or bump up the text size. Your preferences, your way.
Add the places you shop: grocery store, warehouse club, pharmacy. Your household keeps one shared catalog, categories, and trip history, and each item is tagged with the stores that carry it. Start a trip at any store and you only see what belongs there.
Snap a photo of that specific brand or product, or paste an image from your clipboard. Photos are automatically compressed for fast loading. Tap a thumbnail to view it full-size.
Type "milk" and it goes to Dairy. Type "chicken" and it's in Meat & Seafood. Thousands of common grocery items are automatically sorted into the right aisle.
Large touch targets, swipe actions, and a bottom input bar designed for one-handed use while pushing a cart. Works great on iPhone and Android.
The Catalog page, reached from the dashboard menu, is where you build your list. Inside a trip, the Plan and Shop tabs cover the other two stages: set priorities, then shop. Both tabs are always visible and each person's view is independent.
Plan before you shop. Switch to the Plan tab to set priorities with swipe gestures, then tap Shop to check things off as you go.
Not getting an item this trip? Tap it in the Plan tab to drop it. Too pricey, or you'll grab it somewhere else? Dropped items stay in your catalog for next time. In the Shop tab, swipe left marks an item Not here instead, for something the store has none of.
Install Cartful to your home screen on any device. It looks and feels like a native app. Works on iPhone, Android, and desktop. Share the join code and your household is connected in seconds.
Lost your join code? No problem. Ask anyone already in the household to tap Invite on the dashboard and share the 6-character code again. No passwords or email needed.
Tap the mic button and speak naturally, it floats in the corner during a trip, and sits in the dashboard's "We need..." box. "We need eggs", "no on the bread today", "got the milk", commands work in planning and shopping modes. Say just an item name and it does the right thing for the current tab. Great for hands-free planning from the kitchen.
